JJCreatives Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By using JJCreatives services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

 

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

2. Services

We provide photography, videography, and creative strategy services. The specific details, deliverables, and scope are confirmed in your Project Brief, quotation, or invoice. Services not explicitly included are outside the scope of our agreement.

3. Booking & Payment

  • Deposit (Non-Refundable): A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. No services will be provided until the deposit is received. This deposit covers time reserved, planning, and potential loss of alternative bookings.

  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance is due no later than 7 calendar days before the shoot date. Failure to pay by this date may result in cancellation of services without refund.

  • Cancellation Fees:

    • More than 30 days before the shoot: deposit fully retained (non-refundable)

    • 7–14 days before the shoot: 50% of the total project fee

    • 48–72 hours before the shoot: 75% of the total project fee

    • Less than 24 hours / on the day: 100% of the total project fee

  • Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for any non-recoverable costs already incurred by JJCreatives (e.g., permits, venue fees, actor fees).

  • Rescheduling: If JJCreatives can book the same date for another client, any unused fees may be credited toward a future booking.

4. Planning & Pre-Production

Project fees may include reasonable planning and pre-production work, such as:

  • Client communication

  • Shot planning

  • Scheduling and preparation

Additional work beyond what is reasonably required may incur extra charges, which will be communicated to the client prior to proceeding.

5. Delivery

  • Timeframe: Deliverables are provided within 7–21 calendar days after the shoot date or receipt of full payment.

  • Method: Delivered via digital download link. JJCreatives is not responsible for files after successful delivery.

6. Revisions

  • Projects include two (2) rounds of minor revisions:

    • Minor edits to images/videos (colour, exposure, audio)

    • Swapping selected images or clips from the original proof gallery

  • Additional revisions are charged at £75 per hour.

  • Feedback must be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery.

7. Copyright & Usage Rights

  • JJCreatives retains all copyright of delivered work.

  • Clients are granted a non-exclusive licence to use content for agreed purposes.

  • Clients may not sell, claim authorship, or alter content in a way that misrepresents our work.

8. Portfolio & Promotion

We may use delivered content for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing unless the client opts out in writing.

​

9. Liability

  • Our total liability is limited to fees paid, excluding deposits.

  • Not responsible for damages caused by equipment failure, force majeure, or unforeseen circumstances.

10. Force Majeure & Illness

If services are disrupted due to illness or events beyond our control:

  • Reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule or provide an alternative

  • Refunds exclude the non-refundable deposit

11. Termination

We may terminate services for abuse, non-payment, or breach of terms. No refunds will be issued in these cases.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
